Aaron Concrete Contractors is a family and locally owned heavy civil contractor. Highway and roadway, underground utilities and box culvert, slip form barrier wall, curb and gutter, earthwork and grading, out of the yard on Nixon Lane. Two hundred miles south at Aransas Pass, the crusher turns clean rubble back into material you can buy by the load.

Forty years on the same roads
Aaron Concrete has built roadway in central Texas for four decades. Two operating yards, two estimators who pick up the phone, and crews that work in English and Spanish. If you are putting a package together, send it to a person, not a form.

Road construction and concrete services
Everything below is heavy civil. Aaron Concrete does not sell residential patios, stamped concrete or decorative overlays, and never has. What it sells is roadway, the structures underneath it, and the material that goes back into the next one.

The yard nobody knows about
The Aransas Pass yard at 3274 Highway 35 takes clean concrete rubble, crushes it, screens it and stockpiles it back into base material. It has its own phone number, its own scale and its own regulars. Hover a mark to see what each part of it does.

Sold by the load
Base does not get mixed with fill and sand does not get mixed with topsoil, which is why the piles sit apart with room to work between them. Call the yard with a quantity and a destination and it will quote the load.

Half of roadway work is done before any concrete arrives: traffic control up, forms set true, the mat tied, the subgrade proofed. The crews out of Nixon Lane do that part in front of moving traffic, on somebody else's schedule, and then they finish the surface by hand.

Aaron trucks run out of both yards under their own DOT numbers. The number painted on the door is the same one at the top of this page, and it has not changed.
