Six things the crews do, and one of them happens after everybody else has gone home.
Everything below is heavy civil. Aaron Concrete does not sell residential patios, stamped concrete or decorative overlays, and never has. What it sells is roadway, the structures underneath it, and the material that goes back into the next one.

Two hundred miles south, the crusher runs.
The Aransas Pass yard at 3274 Highway 35 takes clean concrete rubble, crushes it, screens it and stockpiles it back into base material. It has its own phone number, its own scale and its own regulars. Hover a mark to see what each part of it does.

Sold by the load
Every cone in this photograph is a different spec.
Base does not get mixed with fill and sand does not get mixed with topsoil, which is why the piles sit apart with room to work between them. Call the yard with a quantity and a destination and it will quote the load.

- Broken slab sized for slope protection, channel armour and outfall aprons.

The pour is the easy part. Getting there on a live road is not.
Half of roadway work is done before any concrete arrives: traffic control up, forms set true, the mat tied, the subgrade proofed. The crews out of Nixon Lane do that part in front of moving traffic, on somebody else's schedule, and then they finish the surface by hand.

What estimating gets asked most.
Highway and roadway construction, underground utilities and drainage structures, slip form barrier wall, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway and parking lot paving, earthwork and grading, and concrete recycling. It is heavy civil work for public agencies and general contractors, not residential patio or decorative concrete.
Central Texas out of the Austin yard at 4108 Nixon Lane, and the Coastal Bend out of the Aransas Pass yard at 3274 Highway 35. The truck decals read Austin and San Antonio, and crews travel across the central Texas region and the surrounding areas.
