Heavy civil, not residential
Everything on this page is heavy civil work, built for public agencies, general contractors and developers rather than homeowners. Aaron Concrete Contractors has run the yard at 4108 Nixon Lane in Austin since 1985, and the sign bolted to the equipment down at the second yard in Aransas Pass still spells out most of it in one line: road contractor, slip form barriers, one phone number for both places. From road construction and underground utilities through to paving and milling, if the job is heavy civil concrete work in central Texas, it is one of the six services below.
Nothing here is stamped concrete, a decorative overlay or a homeowner's driveway. It is roadway, the structures under it, the barrier beside it, and the material that eventually goes back into the next one.
STA 12+50 · The work
Six services, one crew
Aaron Concrete does not farm these six pieces out to six different companies. The same two estimators price them, the same crews run them, and the same two yards stock and service them. Pick the one that matches the job in front of you, or call and describe it and let estimating sort out which one it is.
Finish work
The subgrade gets proofed and brought to line and grade before base ever arrives, base gets compacted to spec, forms get set true, and then the crew places and hand finishes the slab. This is what the Nixon Lane yard has done for public agencies, general contractors and developers across central Texas since 1985.

Paving and milling sit alongside all of it. If the plan calls for a section this list does not name, describe it on the phone. Forty years in, there is not much shape of curb the crews have not run.
STA 26+00 · Estimating
Road construction, earthwork and rail go to Dale Detten at dale@aaronconcrete.com. Utilities and earthwork go to Bob Tomlinson at bob@aaronconcrete.com. Earthwork sits on both of their role lines on purpose, since so much of it runs underneath whichever of the two scopes actually got the job called.
Both estimators answer the same number, (512) 926-7326, Monday through Friday, seven in the morning to six at night. Milling and paving fold into the road construction scope rather than standing as a service of their own, so send that work to Dale the same way you would send a straight roadway package. Neither estimator needs a phone call before the plan sheets arrive, but a phone call after they do is usually the fastest way to find out whether a tight schedule is actually workable.

Whichever of the six you need, it starts with a call to Austin or an email to the estimator who covers it. There is no separate form to fill out and nothing to request online, because the people who quote the work are the same people who answer the phone.
